WHAT A WONDERFUL GIFT!!

The Buena High School Class of 2008 has exited and may now just be a part of Buena's history, but they have left a lasting legacy to Buena's future students. The class officers and student council members chose to use their funds to buy a new electronic sign for the school. Pictured above, the sign replaces the former Buena sign located on the corner of Guilio Cesare Avenue and Charleston Road. Principal Tad Bloss said the former sign's messages had to be changed manually, and this new sign will allow the messages to be changed in the school office, by computer. The day before graduation the class officers gathered with their advisor Roxanne Shear (far right in photo), and Dr. Renae Humburg (center of photo) to officially present the sign to the school. The funds to purchase the sign were raised by the class officers throughout the year at special fund-raising events, and also represents some carry over from the previous school year.
